Walid Elhawli is the principal solicitor of Elhawli & Co Lawyers. He advises individuals, families and businesses across a broad range of practice areas, with a focus on practical, results-driven outcomes.
Walid holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Monash University, and completed his Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice at the Leo Cussen Centre for Law before being admitted to practice. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
His career has taken him through top-tier commercial law at Allens Linklaters, where he worked on complex commercial transactions and high-stakes matters; litigation and dispute resolution at Melbourne Legal Chambers, appearing across Victorian courts and tribunals; and general practice at FE Lawyers across motor vehicle accidents, family law, wills and estates, and conveyancing.
Most recently, at AP Group Legal, Walid specialised in healthcare business transactions — acting on the sale and purchase of pharmacies and medical centres in every Australian state, and managing the full legal process from initial negotiations through to regulatory approvals and final settlement.
